August has been a great Month, especially with the visit from BBC Spotlight, putting Team WAKT on the T.V.
Thanks to those of you that helped with that – much appreciated.
We’ve also stepped things up for the Grading preparation, still 3 weeks to go, but that will come round fast.

Training is now well under way for the next grading and we’ll continue to cover the syllabus in depth over the coming weeks leading up to the actual grading itself. There’s still time to get your name down if you haven’t already, so get involved.
Pre Grading is Sunday 18th September, 11:00am start.
If you have sparring (Orange and above) please ensure you get your Fighter Squad sessions in too.

September is going to be a full Month of hard Training Camp, as we’re looking to attend 2 shows in October. Match making is currently under way, and of course all updates will be on the WAKT WhatsApp group. If you’re currently not on the group just let your coach know.

We’ll be keeping in touch via the WhatsApp group whilst we’re on our travels to the Land of Smiles. We’re also intending to film some of our mad moments on FB & Insta so you can join in the experience with us 😊
