Welcome to another exciting Month at WAKT Muay Thai!
As we head into the last couple of months of the year, things are really starting to ramp up. We’ve got all the main events coming up listed below, but the one big ‘Step Up’ that everyone can be involved in is of course the final Grading of 2022. Please bear in mind that there may be a slight increase in Grading rates next year, as they haven’t changed for over 5 years. Here are those important dates for your diary.
Pre Grading Sunday 11th December.

With 14 names put forward for the interclub, we really need everyone to be on their game and feeling their best. If you’re on the list and don’t feel like you’re ready, please speak to one of the WAKT coaches for advice. We want everyone to have a great experience, and there’s a lot of pressure at events like this. For those fully on board, we recommend being in the gym as close to six days a week as possible.
Sunday 13th November.

The last grading of 2022 is an opportunity to finish the year strong! With less than two months to go, it’s time to step up right now. Not everyone passed the last grading, so we will be looking to increase the standard, especially as some higher grades will be attending this time too.
Please, don’t just attend Fighter Squad in prep for the Grading and fade away afterwards. That’s not how it works. You need to be dedicated to your training if you want to see results.

The Yoga and Meditation sessions have been a great success and we’re so pleased to have such a lovely group of people come together. We’ve made a few changes to the format recently and now do our meditation towards the end of the class. This way, if anyone is running late, it doesn’t cause any disruption. There are often a few spaces left, so if you’re struggling with anxiety or stress, then you’re welcome to join us.
