Common questions
Do I need to be fit before I start?
No. You build fitness during the sessions. We start light and increase the pace gradually as you feel more comfortable.
What do I need to bring?
Shorts and a T-shirt are perfect for your first visit. You’ll be training barefoot on the mats, but you may want to bring a pair of slides for popping to the loo. If you already have gloves or wraps you can bring them — but they’re not required to get started.
We also have a small shop at the gym with everything you might need — gloves, wraps, shin guards and WAKT kit — so you can pick things up whenever you're ready.
Do I have to spar or fight?
No. Most people train purely for fitness, confidence and enjoyment. Sparring and competing are completely optional.
