Wednesday nights at WAKT look a bit different to the rest of the week. Mashup is open to all ages and all abilities, so a first timer finding their range, a kid who has been coming a few months, and someone who has trained for years are all in the same hour.
What the hour looks like
We work the Muay Thai fundamentals, then build agility and cardio on top. It moves. Nobody is drilling one thing for sixty minutes, and nobody is standing about waiting for a turn.
Training as a family
Plenty of parents start out dropping their child off and watching from the side. Mashup is the session where you can train as well, same room, same hour. The kids work harder when a parent is in, and the parents find out quickly how much their child is actually putting in.
Come along
There is no need to book, just come along on the night. Train with us for a few weeks and see how you get on before deciding on a membership.
If you trained with us before and life got in the way, you are welcome back any time. It happens more than you would think.
WAKT Muay Thai is at Kernow Resilience Hub, Highburrow Lane, Pool, between Camborne and Redruth, and has been running since 1994. The full timetable is at wakt.co.uk/time-table.
