Welcome to another exciting Month at WAKT Muay Thai!
There’s been some frustration with Fight Shows changing dates and being cancelled (or both), but our fight team has been getting stronger all the time, and we’re now getting back on track.
Big thanks to all of you for supporting the gym while we’ve been in Thailand, especially the coaches that kept the home fires burning.

Well done to everyone that graded. It was a tough one and inevitably a few didn’t make it. Remember, we don’t win all our fights, so time to work harder and come back stronger. We know that there are Martial Art clubs where you simply purchase your next grade/belt, but we pride ourselves on having a higher level of integrity than that. A few people have been asking when the next one is, so we’ve pencilled in the date of Sunday 18th December.

The one-on-one PT sessions have been popular lately, and we’re so happy to see that people are looking to improve themselves in a variety of ways! These sessions focus on helping you with your personal goals, whether it be fitness, weight loss, confidence, or anything else you might want to work on.
We want to help you become the best version of yourself at WAKT Muay Thai, whether it be that you’d like to sharpen your defences, or improve your technique, or of course all of the above.
So, if you’d like to make the most of Mr Al’s many years of experience, or indeed any of our other fabulous coaches, don’t hesitate to get in touch 🙏

It was truly amazing to be back in Thailand after almost 3 years of being away.
Apart from the obvious highlights of tropical weather, super food and astounding beaches, we made some great Muay Thai contacts too.
Unfortunately, like many businesses and people, Por Promin gym has wound down somewhat due to the pandemic.
We did some research and finally found the Sitjaopho Gym, which is not only a great gym in Hua Hin, but one of the best in Thailand. The guys was very friendly and we’ve been invited to train there next year.
